Oropouche virus disease in Brazil

As of 15 December 2024, a total of 11,695 cases of Oropouche virus disease (OROV) have been reported in Brazil. Cases have been reported in 22 states with Amazonas and Espirito Santo most severely affected. Four deaths associated with OROV have been reported, with four more under investigation.
