Hantavirus in Tristan de Cunha ex cruise ship

As of 10 May 2026, the UK Health Security Agency have confirmed a case of Andes virus linked to MV Hondius cruise ship outbreak on Tristan de Cunha. This case was previously noted as a probable case and does not alter the total of 13 cases (three deaths) linked to this outbreak.
